Daguerreotype Beautiful Young Lady Outstanding FASHION & JEWELRY 1840s era

  

This portrait of a beautiful young lady is in overall very good used condition with bluish tarnish rings around the perimeter. The dag was taken apart to clean the glass. It was then reassembled with archival tape. The dag is marked on the upper left corner by the plate maker. There are silver tarnish marks in a strange brown/blue color around the edges.

This daguerreotype has the wow factor or the pop POP factor it really pops! The details in the period dress are incredible and shes wearing some very fashionable jewelry, consisting of a brooch on her scarf and what looks like a mourning jewelry bracelet on her wrist.

She also has a gold ring on her index finger and shes holding a book in her other hand. The sixth plate embossed leather case has a split spine and otherwise in broken used condition, with also some corrosion on the brass preserver surrounding the octagonal brushed brass mat.
