This Wrap ring from Judith Ripka has 17 Bezel set Amethysts. Starting from the bottom are the smallest and graduating in size.

Bottom row are round stones. Second row are larger Oval stones and at the top is a large pear shape. The Amethysts are deep Purple.

Since all the stones are Bezel set, there are no prongs to catch on your clothes. If you are hard on your jewelry, someone who has a job where you use your hands a lot, then this is the ring for you.
